Development situation and countermeasures on Guangdong flower industry in the first half of 2015

In the first half of 2015， steady progress was made in the structural adjustment of flower industry in Guangdong province， although growth slowed in import and export trade. Due to an abundance of flower supplies on the markets， the price fell. This paper analyzed the current situatio of flower industry in Guangdong， the results showed that flower market scale continued to expand， and the flower industry output value rose steadily； The group consumption reduced， and household consumption sprang up； Flower import and export were general slowdown， but some areas done well； Sale mode became diversification， and e-commerce developed rapidly. This paper pointed out a series of problems in flower industry， like increasingly popular flowers were grown to follow suit， and product structure was needed to be optimized； Flower industry was lack of standardization， and market competitiveness was low； Flower industry structure was unreasonable， and supporting service was needed to be improved； The information asymmetry between supply and sale was serious， and “difficult to buy” and “difficult to sell” would long-term exsit. At last， future countermeasures were put forward， including creating differentiated competitive advantage to stabilize market orientation， adjusting product structure to improve product competitiveness， creating “Internet +” flower pattern to promote industry transformation and upgrading
