Abstract
The potential of mesophilic anaerobic digestion for the treatment of navel orange wastes and swine manure was evaluated. Co-digestion process was conducted in batch digesters. Effects of total solid(TS),C/N, and temperature on co-digestion process were studied by orthogonal experiment. Results showed that high-level accumulation of volatile fatty acid(VFAs)and lack of pH-regulation might contribute to poor methane production. According to intuitive analysis, the most influent factor for biogas production was C/N,follow by TS,then temperature. The optimum condition was C/N of 35,TS of 15% and at 55℃.
