Study on relationship between farmers’ mutual fund size and members’ benefit

Since the farmers’ mutual fund pilot started in 2006，although it develop fast，the size varies among the farmers’ mutual fund， it affects the realization of union as cooperation financial organization to maximize the benefits of members. Based on the field survey results of 51 farmers’mutual funds in Nanjing，Yangzhou，Yancheng City of Jiangsu Province，we further analyzed the relationship by empirical study based on theoretical analysis. The results showed that the relationship between benefits of members and members of scale，the benefits of members and size of mutual funds was inverted U-shaped. The interests of members had a significantly positive relationship with the size of loan. Farmers’ mutual fund had an reasonable size to maximize the interests of members
