This paper analyzed the yield, regional distribution, output, status quo of science and technology and existing problems of oil -tea industry in Guangdong during 2013-2014, then proposed some countermeasures to optimize the development of Guangdong oil-tea industry, including strengthening policy support, increasing industry investment, improving sci-tech innovation, strengthening scientific and technological support, consummating service system of industrialization, accelerating application of mechanization, establishing ecological philosophy, increasing degree of industrial agglomeration, strengthening quality control of products, to break the bottleneck of oil -tea industry development in Guangdong by various modes
