Overflows of price support policies effects for China’s grain and their influences

In past 10 years，market price support policies，like minimum guaranty price policy and temporarystorage measure，have become the basic policies in the support and protection system in China’s grain. They play anextremely important role in promoting development of grain production，stabling the supply and price of grain. However，with the continuous overflows of food price support policies effects，the negative externalities become more prominent，like the distortion of food market，the imbalance of agricultural structure and the pressure of food import must be highlyvalued. Therefore，on the one hand，we should further improve the design of policy operation rules，to reduce marketdistorting effect；on the other hand，we should explore the transformation and adjustment of price support to directsubsidy，play the decisive role of market allocation resources.
