Identification of red spot pathogen of spider lily

Spider lily has well ornamental and medicinal value. Spider lily was found being infected with redspot disease in green belt in Guangzhou，and its normal growth and appearance was severely affected. In order to findthe causes of the disease，the methods of pathogen isolation and Koch's postulates pathogenicity test were adopted toobtain the pathogen，and the pathogen was identified based on cultural characteristics，mophological characteristicsand sequence analysis of β-tubulin，the results showed that the pathogen was identified as Stagonospora curtisii. Thedetermination of the pathogen can provide theoretical basis for the prevention and control of red spot disease.
