Review on food security assessment in China

The problem of food security in China has been paid close attention by academic circles in both China and overseas. Thus，the issue has provided effective supports to guarantee the food security in China，even in the world. Based on much literature review，from the aspects of grain supply and demand in China，food security evaluation system，and food security criteria，this paper sorted out the existed research on China’s food security and pointed out its deficiencies in order to give the outlook of the subsequent research， and provide supports to deepen the food security evaluation work in China.
