RAPD analysis of Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. manihotis

In order to study the genetic，variance and differentiation of Xanthomonas axonopodis pv.manihotis，45 strains from different areas and 8 primers with preferable polymorphism were selected，PCR amplification and fingerprints construction were finished. The cluster analysis of UPGMA was obtained based on the PCR outcomes，the big differentiation and abundant polymorphism existed among these tested strains. The integrated cluster analysis results showed that all the strains could be divided into 7 groups at the level of 75% similarity.
