    Cloning, bioinformatics and expression analysis of C1H21orf62 gene in yak

    • A coding region sequence of yak C1H21orf62 was amplified by RT-PCR. The physicochemical properties and domains in C1H21orf62 protein were predicted by bioinformatics methods. The expression levels of C1H21orf62 mRNA of horned and polled yaks were employed by Real -time PCR. The results showed that the coding region was 662 bp in length, encoding 161 amino acids. C1H21orf62 was a kind of hydrophilic protein with 13 potential phosphorylation sites, without transmembrane domain and signal peptide. The expression of C1H21orf62 gene in polled yaks was higher than that in horned yaks significantly.
