Evaluation of agricultural informatization based on the comprehensive index method An example of Shandong province

In order to assess agricultural informationization, index system and comprehensive index evaluationmethod were constructed in this paper. And the method was applied in Shandong province. The results showed thatthe agricultural informationization level of Shandong province was going upward during 2003 -2012. Althoughagricultural production informationization and agricultural management informationization were going upward, theywere both at a relative low level, which should be considered to be the key aspects of construction during the process of development of agricultural informationization in Shandong province.
