Research on present situation and strategies of land compensation and resettlement approach in Guizhou province 要Based on the investigation of 33 villages in Guizhou province

In order to research the approach of land compensation and resettlement in Guizhou province, this paper took 33 villages in the province as the sample areas. These villages all have acquisition and relocation projects, and are selected from the urban villages, urban -rural linkage areas and remote rural areas. The methods contained literature analysis, field survey and statistical analysis. The results showed that the foremost resettlement approach was one-time monetary compensation, which accompanied by the arrangement of social security resettlement, land usufruct returning, and housing resettlement. The paper also analyzed the expected resettlement way of the farmers in various development level areas, then analyzed the inadequacies of the land compensation and resettlement approach in Guizhou province. For instance, long -term resettlement approaches was lack of promotion, and the collective land requisition compensation criterion was low. According to the survey, and combined with the advanced experience, some suggestions were put forward to improve the land compensation and resettlement approachs in Guizhou province, including vigorously implementing the sustainable resettlement mode, guarantying the long -term lively hood of farmers, promoting the land circulation, and gradually establishing the united rural and urban construction land market, improving the collective land requisition compensation criterion, increasing efforts to assist and support farmers, narrowing the regional differences on land acquisition compensation criteria, realizing coordinated development of urban and rural areas.
