Analysis on coupling relation between agricultural economy and agro-ecosystem in Yanchi County of Ningxia

Taking Yanchi County as an example, the coupling analysis on its agricultural economy and agro-ecosystems showed that the coupling degree of agricultural economy and agro-ecosystem was very high, with the average value of 0.94193; the coordination degree of agricultural economy and agro-ecosystems increased each year from 0.40 in 1990 to 0.87 in 2012, which showed that along with the development of Yanchi Countys agricultural economy, the agricultural ecological environment also improved. The evaluation of agro -ecosystem comprehensive index and agricultural economy system comprehensive index of Yanchi County showed prominent contradiction between agricultural economic development and ecological environment, which indicated that the current development style of Yanchi County was not sustainable.
