Internal mechanism, policy evolution and driving strategies of family farm’s development

As a new agricultural management entity, the family farm not only indicates the inheritance and transformation of traditional family management, adaptation and adjustment of rural social stratification in the form, but also reflectes the development needs of agricultural modernization and socialization on the content, which are seen as the innovation and development of agricultural production and management system. Domestic policy on this item gradually becomes clear after a series of developments and changes, but current family farm still faces many problems in the areas of financing, insurance, competition, policy, and training. In this regard, this paper proposes some specific strategies to promote the development of family farms including improving land transfer mechanism, strengthening policy support for family farms, establishing and improving the agricultural socialized service system, and striving to foster new professional farmers, and so on.
