Effects of soil conditioner on flue-cured tobacco quality and physical and chemical properties of tobacco planting soil in Hezhou

The effects of soil conditioner on flue-cured tobacco growth, yield and quality and soil physical chemical propertie were studied. The results showed that under the application of soil conditioner, tobacco's agronomic traits, chemical composition, economic traits, soil nutrient and soil enzyme activities were better than those of the control, while under the application of soil conditioner, incidence rate and disease index of tobacco black shank and mosaic were lower than those of the control. The application of soil conditioner could improve soil properties, tobacco quality and production.
