Research on kohlrabi genetic regulation of skin color

Taking five different purple kohlrabi inbred line and green kohlrabi “Zaoguan”as parent, this study developed reciprocal cross (F1, RF1), combined with morphology and color values of the HSB for skin color purple kohlrabi for genetic analysis. The results showed that the color of purple kohlrabi爷s bulbs was genetic nucleus, purple to green as dominant, and green was recessive. Minor genes were affected by different controlling purple kohlrabi from different sources, and the use of this trait to cultivate new types and new varieties provided a theoretical basis.
