    Influence of SPNE on growth and correlated traits of 5 Drosophila melanogaster strains

    • Taking 5 strains of pure gene Drosophila melanogaster as the materials, SPNE (Special Plant Nutritional Element) was firstly used for non-plant. Drosophila culture medium was added by SPNE, cultured at 18益, the appearance of their larvae, pupae and emergence time were earlier, their growth and development were accelerated and life cycle was shortened, the number of offspring increased obviously and the body weight also increased slightly. The results show that SPNE has significant effects on Drosophila. This provides a new method for D. melanogaster and other insects culture, and finds a new material and way for the research and application of SPNE.
