Research progress of physiological mechanism and artificial control of plant cold-resistance

Temperature is one of the important abiotic stress factors limiting plant growth and geographical distribution. Each year, crop loss caused by freezing is very huge. So, studing plant antifreeze mechanism and artificial regulation especially crops and economic plants has practical significance. In order to provide theoretical basis to prevent cold injury, this paper summarizes the research achievements of plant cold-resistant physiological mechanism in recent years, sums up plant physiological adaptation mechanism and artificial control measures response to cold stress, introduces the main cold-resistant genes and application researches of artificial regulation and control measures.
