Research on the farmers welfare change in rural-urban land conversion under different economic levels

This paper established an index system for evaluating farmers welfare changes in rural -urban land conversion based on Sens capability approach theory, and used fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to measure the changes under different economic levels. The results showed that, (1) the farmers welfare level decreased after rural-urban land conversion, the value of fuzzy evaluation declined from 0.5 to 0.376; (2) the accommodation and living conditions improved, while the family economic condition, social security, environment, emotion, participation in decision-making and rationality of compensation deteriorated in different degrees, especially the family economic conditions, participation in decision -making and rationality of compensation. 3the farmers爷welfare was lower in Jiangxia district with higher economic development level than that in less developed area such as Xian an district.
