Discuss on situation and management of stow-net fishing in the north part of South China sea

Based on the investigation data on the stow-net fishing gear over the years and the investigation results on the main fishing port in recent years in the north part of South China sea, this paper emphatically analyzes the stow-net fishing situation and the existing prominent problems at present, studies the development direction in the future and the management countermeasure of stow -net. Our observations provide reference for realizing the improvement of fishing method and management on the stow-net fishing. As one of the mainly set fishing gear in the north part of South China sea, enhancing the management and reasonable development of the stow -net fishing were suggested, and then stainable development of the inshore fishery in the north part of South China sea would be realized.
