Safety evaluation on soil and water in banana plantation irrigated with aerobic fermentation liquid of cassava alcohol

    • In order to understand the effects of aerobic fermentation liquid of cassava alcohol (AFLCA, COD was 200~ 900 mg/L) on soil and drinking well water (DWW) in banana plantation, the quality of DWW and the content of heavy metal (Hg, Cd, Pb, As and Cr) in soil were analyzed and evaluated by single factor index and Nemerow multi-factor index method. The results showed that, the comprehensive pollution index of heavy metal in soil was 0.47-0.72, reached cleaning or slight cleaning grade. The quality of DWW was up to standard of water conventional quality index. The soil and DWW in banana plantation irrigated with the AFLCA was not polluted.
