Study on the growth law and economic benefits of Toona sinensis plantation in the Northwest of Guangxi

Taking 12 -year-old Toona Sinensis plantation in the Northwest of Guangxi province as subject, stem analysis method were used to study the annual growth of stand tree height, DBH and single tree volumn, and economic benefit was analyzed by dynamic and static methods. The results showed that the current annual increment of tree height and annual growth of DBH of the T. sinensis plantation reached 2.5 m and 0.5 m respectively, during the first 3 years, showing a high level of growth. The average single tree volume(12-year-old) was 0.07506 m3, and the net profit was 62 489 Yuan, the ratio of input and outcome reached 1:15.090.
