Effects of GA3 on growth and flowering of potato

In order to provide references for the regulation of flowering time in conventional sexual hybridization of potato, effects of GA3 on growth and flowering of three potato varieties with different maturation period were studied. The results showed that GA3 treatment could promote plant growth and decrease the content of chlorophyll, also could promote the flowering habit of early maturing variety and prolong the flower season of mid-late maturity varieties.
