Current situation, problems and countermeasures of science and technology development of seed industry in China

This paper expounds the critical significance of science and technology in development of seed industry and agricultural modernization at first, then analyzes the current situation and problems of science and technology development of seed industry in China. Through comparing with seed industry developed countries, we analyze the reasons why Chinese scientific and technological level of seed industry is lower than other countries. At last, the authors give some advices to each related entity about how to construct a innovation system of seed industry science and technology according to the facts at the present with a rational division of labor and in a spirit of cooperation, then promote seed industry science and technology development
