Review on biological control of red palm weevil Rhynchophorus ferrugineus

Red palm weevil is one of important invasive pests on palms in China. General control methods are ineffective to this pest due to its wood boring feature. The present paper reviewed biological control of entomopathogenic nematodes, entomopathogenic fungi, entomopathogenic bacteria and other natural enemy on Red palm weevil in order to obtain inspirations of biological control on this pest in China.
