Effect of AOA on petals physiology in cut tree peony

The cut tree peonies Zhao fen were treated with different concentrations (0, 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75 mmol/L), and aminooxyacetate (AOA) and physiological indices in petals were determined in this paper. The results indicated that in the whole cut peony flowering, after AOA treatment, the content of anthocyanin, soluble protein and reducing sugar and ratio of dry weight and fresh weight improved, respiratory rate decreased , compared with control.
