Application of combination weighting method in suitability evaluation of camellia in Guangdong woodland

As one optional type of land for camellia growing areas, there is much room for development in woodland.In order to obtain reasonable index weight about suitability evaluation of camellia and scientifically evaluate the suitability of woodland for camellia, thus to select suited areas to plant camellia, index weights were calculated by combining G1 method and entropy method. And that method was applied to suitability evaluation of camellia in woodland of Guangzhou.In the four selected sample areas, the evaluation results by this method reflected the actual situation. This method can considerate both subjective and objective influencing factors and is better than simple subjective weighting method or objective weighting method.
