Field experiments of 7 pesticides for controlling Helicoverpa assulta Guene

Field experiments of 7 pesticides for controlling Helicoverpa assulta Guene were conducted in tobacco field, the control efficiencies of 7 bio-control agents and their influence on main economic characters of tobacco leaf were studied. The results showed that among the 7 bio-control agents tested, the control effect of 8 000 IU/滋LB.t SC (100 g/667m2)and 16 000 IU/mg Bt Wettable Powders (WP, 75 g/667m2) was significant, closely to the effect of Chrysanthemum Ester Insecticide. The two bio-control agents were the preferable biological agents used to control H. assulta Guene of the green tobacco production in Yunnan.
