Application of grey relation analysis in spring soybean's yield analysis

    • Yield and main agronomic characters of 11 varieties of spring soybean in Hainan were analyzed using the grey relation analysis method. The results showed that nine major agronomic characters related to yield were in following sequence: yield per plant> growth period> node number of main stem> 100-seed weight> seed number per plant> pod number per plant> effective branch number>plant height> pod height at bottom. Therefore, we should prioritize yield per plant, growth period, node number of main stem etc. for high yield breeding.
