Sowing date screening of peanut intercropping with sugarcane

Taking Yueyou 7 peanut as material, the effect of sowing date on agronomic traits, economic traits and yield of peanut when intercropping with sugarcane was studied in this paper. The result showed that under the same management and fertilization conditions and on the premise of the growth of sugarcane, the 3rd sowing date (15 March) was the best. Under the best sowing date, plant height of peanut was not the highest, but peanut had the most effective branches, the most pots per plant, and the highest yield. The 3rd sowing date had the best comprehensive benefit.
