Current status and countermeasures of aquatic products' export in Shanghai

As an important component of agriculture in Shanghai, aquaculture industry has attracted more attention. It is very important to develop the aquatic products overseas sales market. From strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, we analyzed the current situation of Shanghai aquatic products export, and regarded that Shanghai aquaculture industry had advantages of solid foreign trade, resource superiority,developed high and new technology; had disadvantages of scale disadvantage, absence of deep processing; had opportunities of foreign increasing aquatic product demand, developing emerging market; and had threatens of security issue, technical barriers to trade and other provincial competition. We must develop aquatic products deep processing, build advantage varieties brand benefit, early occupy emerging market, improve quality of aquatic products export to promote the development of aquatic products exports in Shanghai.
