Assessment of groundwater heavy metal pollution in soil of Southwest mining district based on Visual Modflow

Groundwater pollution assessment of mining district is fundamental for groundwater rational exploitation, utilization and protection. Taking the Southwest mining district soil and groundwater environmental system as object, with comprehensive consideration of the heavy metal pollution characteristics in mining district, groundwater intrinsic vulnerability, risk sources of pollution load and harmfulness of pollution, this paper simulated the transport of groundwater flow field and heavy metal in soil groundwater system based on Visual Modflow.
