Effects of Eu-commin in diet on egg爷s quality

Abstract
In order to study the influence Eu-commin in the diet of laying hens on the egg’s quality, 100 Luhua chickens from Zhangjiajie were divided into 4 groups randomly. Control group was feed with basic ration, and the experimental groups were feed with fodder adding 1%, 2% and 3% Eu-commin in basic ration. The quantity of the eggs was detected after 8 weeks. The results showed that Eucommin could improve egg weight, proportion of yolk, colour of yolk, Haugh unit and content of Se in eggs significantly, while had no signifcant effect on egg shape index and content of water. At the same time, it showed that weight of eggshell, yolk and albumen,proportion of eggshell and albumen were also improved. In a word, adding of Eu-commin in chicken爷s diet can ameliorate the egg’s quantity.
