Influencing factors of farmers'participation in irrigation management

Participatory irrigation management is an important irrigation system reform, profound system design, and is becoming the main characteristic of the irrigation system. This article analysed the farmers'internal factors and external factors and gave comments to the domestic and foreign related farmer participation in irrigation management behavior based on representative research results. Finally,the article pointed out that it was necessary to apply the social capital theory and planning act theory to the analysis of farmer participation in irrigation management behavior. This could theoretically explain the participation of farmer behavior, expand the social capital theory and the theory of planned behavior in farmer participation management applications.
