New potato varieties introduction and variety comparative test

6 new potato varieties were introduced by Jiangmen Seed Co. Ltd in 2012. With Holland 7 as CK, variety comparative test of these 6 new potato was carried out. The results showed that, the Xuechuan Holland 15 had the significant advantage than CK, with the highest yield, good comprehensive characters, high planting benefit, which was suitable for the extension in local; Xisen 1 and Hesheng Holland 15 had the higher yield, but the quality of potato seed should be tested further; Zhongshu 3 was suggested to be planted in sandy loam field, with good control of water and proper harvesting; Minshu 1 had more rotten seed, poor disease resistance, and no product advantage; Zaodabai had the lowest yield, feeled early and late blight, and was not suitable for local cultivation.
