Compared study on artificial insemination methods of Andrias davidianus

Artificial reproduction of Andrias davidianus commonly use artificial injection of oxytocin and artificial insemination. Atpresent, there are three kinds of methods for artificial insemination of A.davidianus, namely dry method, dry-wet method and wet method,repectively. We compared the result of the three artificial insemination methods in this paper. The result showed that the fertilization rate of dry-wet method was highest with 37.6%~39.4%. The second was wet method, the fertilization rate was 23.8%~25.9%. The fertilizationrate of dry moethod was lowest with 18.9%~21.8%. The result indicated that dry-wet method was the best artificial reproduction methodof A.davidianus.
