Study on the factors influencing the bud induction of Aglaonemum cultured in vitro

In order to provide reference to the mass seedling production, the factors influencing the budinduction of Aglaonemum were studied by using the variety “A.lady valentine”as matieral. The result showed that the contamination rate was only 5% sterilized by 0.1% HgCl2；the induction rate in the culture medium containing 0.3 mg/L TDZ was the highest with 273%. And the buds induced were stronger than the others; higher temperature favored the induction of aglaonema buds.
