Role Transformation of new-type farmers from the perspective of rural ecology civilization construction

Analyzed on the basis of Role theory, the farmers have been playing a main role in the rural ecology civilization construction. Nevertheless, restricted by the farmers＇ present knowledge shortcomings, the role that the farmers play suffers a clash with the construction. Problems such as the deficiency of the eco-ethics value, the original life vices, the current democratic political quality, the generally low cultural level, and the unscientific rural consumption pattern, are having a negative effect on the rural ecology civilization construction, which calls on new-type farmers with better quality. There are two aspects for the farmers＇ role development course. On one hand, to try role-transformation by transforming farmers to farmer-commercials, famers to good producers, and traditional farmers to new-type farmers. On the other hand, to make mind-transformation by following the conscience of a main role the farmers play, making use of the education resources of universities and colleges, and the government＇ s c role.
