Physiological function and application research progress of marine bioactive peptides

Recently, marine bioactive peptides have gained much attention because of their numerous health beneficial effects. The biological activities of marine bioactive peptide including anti-oxidation, anti-hypertensive, anti-bacterial, enhancing bone strength and preventing osteoporosis and applications in medicine, food and farming industry were reviewed in this paper. It is intended to provide useful information for further research in marine bioactive peptides.
