Breeding and cultivation technology of Feng-tai-zhan袁 a new rice variety with good quality 要要The practice of theory of rice core germplasm

Feng-tai-zhan is a conventional rice variety as early and late season rice, developed by Rice Research Institute of Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences using core germplasm breeding theory through crossing Tai-ao-si-miao with Feng-yuezhan. Its rice quality is up to 2nd grade by GB and Guangdong provincial standard. It is a rice with strong stem and high resistant to lodging ,high-yield heterosis,good grain quality, high resistance to blast and middle resistance to bacterial blight. It was registered by Guangdong Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2009 after multiple trials in early-cropping seasons of 2007,2008.
