Carbon fixation and oxygen release, cooling and humidification of 12 Magnoliaceae species

Taking 6 species of deciduous trees and evergreen trees of Magnoliaceae as materials, portable photosynthesis analyzer Li- 6400XT and plant canopy analyzer ACCUPAR LP-80 were used to calculate their photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate and leaf area index. And their carbon fixation and oxygen release, cooling and humidification of unit land area were studied quantitatively. The results showed that in unit land area, the evergreen trees’capacity order of diurnal carbon fixation and oxygen release were Michelia chapensis
