An analysis of isolating identification and test of drug sensitivity to pathogens of cow endometritis in Nanning

    • This work was aimed to investigate etiological factors of cow endometrits and its preventions and treatments. 22 samples of secretion were collected from uteruses of cows with endometris in cow farms around Nanning, Guangxi. They were dealt with isolation and identification of pathogenic bacteria and drug sensitivity testing. The results showed that 30 bacterial strains were isolated from the 22 samples, which belonged to 5 kinds including staphylococcus, E. coli, streptococcus, Bacillus cereus and yeast-like fungi. The isolated staphylococcus, E. coli, streptococcus and Bacillus cereus strains had a high sensitivity to Tigecycline while they showed various degrees of drug tolerance to 11 drugs such as erythromycin , vancomycin and Oxacillin. The yeast-like fungi (candida albicans) had a high sensitivity to 5 antifungal drugs such as amphotericin B and Itraconazole.
