Preliminary analysis of stem diameter, plant height and its correlation in Asparagus officinalis L. germplasm resources

In the paper, stem diameter, plant height and its correlation of 40 Asparagus officinalis L. accessions were compared. Those accessions with good performance in plant height and stem diameter were Pacific Purple, UC157, JK107, Purple Passion, champion. Plant height and yield is closely related, plant height and stem diameter of half accessions was not significantly related. The result provided a theoretical basis for germplasm improvement and the increase in yield.
