    Safety experiment of tebuthiuron 46% SC on succeeding crops

    • The aim of this study was to determine the effect of Tebuthiuron 46% SC on succeeding crops for 1 month using the Indoor pot test method after application. The results showed that at the low rate of 850 g/hm2(a.i.), snow bean and peanut were not injured.At the middle rate of 1 700 g/hm2 (a.i.), snow bean was not injured. At the high rate of 2 550 g/hm2 (a.i.), flowering cabbage, spinach,vegetables and Chinese cabbage should all be avoided. Sensitive crops such as corn and peanut were injured relatively severely, and should not be planted. Relatively sensitive crops snow bean showed slight injury and should probably not be planted.
