Vertical distribution of the zooplankton in culture and non-culture distract of Longtan reservoir

The vertical distribution of zooplankton species was studied by sampling water at different depths (0.5 m, 2 m, 4 m, 6 m, 8 m,10 m, 15 m, 20 m and 30 m) in culture and non-culture distract of Longtan reservoir. The result suggested that the species of zooplankton in culture distract was more than in non-culture distract, the center of the zooplankton distribution in the culture and non-culture distract respectively was 8.2 m, 10.1 m. Transparency and temperature were the principal environmental factors driving the vertical distribution.
