Climate condition for Jatropha curcas planting in Liuzhou

In order to provide a reference for planting, the optimum temperature, water and sunshine of Jatropha curcas growth were summarized according to some relevant literature in this article. The climate condition of Liuzhou was also analyzed, which included the temperature, rainfall, sunshine, frost as well as snowfall. The results showed that some districts of Liuzhou had met the essential climate requirements for J. curcas growth, but the impact of hazardous weather, such as lower temperature, frost as well as drought occurred frequently. Thus preventive measures for hazardous weather should be paid great attention.
