Breeding of eggplant Huiqie 1

Eggplant “Huiqie 1”was a hybrid accomplished by using K06-2 as female parent and H06-3 as male parent.It has an early maturity. It takes 86~100 days from sowing to first harvest and the continual harvesting period is 52~70 days.The fruit is stick and regular in shape,the peel is bright purplish red and the internal is white. It possesses high rate of setting fruit, high resistance to disease and stress. It is high yield and its total yield reaches 2 000~3000 kg per 667 m2 generally.
