Study on the formation path of farmer specialized cooperatives based on social network

In recent years，farmer specialized cooperatives have been developing vigorously and forming an important driving force of rural socio-economic development in China. This paper studied the cases of farmer specialized cooperatives in Henan Province by the method of social network analysis (SNA) and UCINET software. It distinguishes the relationship between actors in the social network that influences the development of cooperatives. It analyzes the way of social network condensing farmers and the structure characteristics of social network that promoting the development of cooperatives. And then, it concludes that the farmer cooperatives can't develop without rural elites and social network that generated around the rural elites. Finally, the article hopes to provide ideas and reference for promoting the development of farmer specialized cooperatives in China.
