Land shareholding cooperative system's impact on farmers'income--a study based on the case of Humen town

The purpose of this paper is to explore the impact of the land shareholding cooperative system on farmers'income. The case study and literature research methodology are employed to analysis the reformation of the land cooperative system in Humen Town.The results show that the implement of land shareholding cooperative system has positive impact on increase of farmers'income, but the extent of the impact is varied with different villages. It is concluded that the impact of the land shareholding cooperative system on farmers'income is influenced by the geographic location, the management level of the village committee, the soliciting for direct foreign investments.
