Advancement of the study on respiratory metabolism of fishery resources organism

Respiratory metabolism is one of the most important aspects in bioenergetics and the important components of energy budget. It can reflect not only biological physiological condition, but also the environmental conditions on the effect of physical activity.Influence factors of respiratory metabolism can be divided into biological factors and non-biological factors. The respiratory metabolism of the fishery resources organism was evaluated in response to body weight, temperature, activity, handling, diurnal rhythm, hungry, feeding and oxygen saturation level. According to results of study about domestic and foreign in recent years, its method of study about fish, shrimp, crab and shellfish on respiratory metabolism were researched, the factors which influenced oxygen consumption rate and ammonia excretion rate were analyzed, hoping for expanding individual physiological ecology to colony physiological ecology and providing data support to enhancement in marine ranching.
