    Influence of low temperature stress on the physiological and biochemical indices of cold-resistance on 9 hedge in Guiyang

    • The present experiment was conducted to study the physiological and biochemical indices of cold-resistance on 9 hedge in Guiyang. The 9 common hedge grown in Guiyang exposed for more than 3 years. The relative electrolyte leakage percentage, the content of soluble protein, proline and MDA, the activities of SOD and POD were determined under the treatments of low -temperature. A comprehensive evaluation of cold-resistance was given based on subordinate function value analysis. The results showed that the order of cold-resistance was Loropetalum chinense>Nandina domestica>Mahonia fortunei>Ligustrum quihoui>Buxus sinica>Pyracantha fortuneana>Jasminum nudiflorum>Serissa serissoides>Aucuba japonica.
